This policy outlines how the Deprez Family Foundation ("DFF") collects, uses, and shares photos taken during its events, including images of athletes, volunteers, and other participants. The privacy and dignity of all individuals featured in our media are of utmost importance.
Photos are taken during:
DFF does not publish or use identifiable images of donors during fundraising events without their explicit consent.
Photos may be taken by DFF staff, volunteers, or received from third parties such as families, external photographers, and partner organizations.
Participation in DFF events implies general consent to be photographed. However, where a person is individually featured or easily identifiable, especially outside of group settings, written or verbal consent may be requested.
For individuals under 18 years of age, DFF requires consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to using the minor's photo. A written form is provided and must be signed before photos are taken or published.
